ZUZUKA PODEROSA is an Indo-Brazilian vocalist, songwriter, and cultural force whose work bridges Brazil, New York, and the global diaspora through sound, performance, and storytelling.
Born in Espírito Santo, Brazil to a Brazilian mother and Indonesian father, she was raised between Rio de Janeiro, the West Indies, and New York City. An international upbringing that continues to shape her genre defying artistic voice. In New York, she studied vocal jazz improvisation while developing her own practice rooted in rhythm, poetry, movement, and cross cultural exchange.
